Multi Sport Camps
Multi Sport Camp offers active girls and boys ages 4-11 a high energy day camp. Days are designed around a diverse array of sports and games with an emphasis on fun and excitement. We begin with different field games and mix of high intensity sports, high technical skill sports, different fun games and team building exercises. Our structured sport camp is designed to keep your child active, engaged and always having fun!
Sports are why kids come to Multi Sport Camp. Each week we will play dozens of games and sports. Our goal is not to make Olympians, but rather introduce boys and girls to Olympic sports in a safe and supportive environment. We teach the basics so our campers will never be picked last for a team in the school yard. Every camp is different but all include athletics, baseball, cricket, football, frisbee, handball, lacrosse, rugby, soccer and volleyball.
Fun is why families keep coming back to Multi Sport Camp. Weekly schedules include sports, but also lots of kid favourites such as challenge games, campers choice, bouncy castles and dodge ball. Some of our camps even offer crafts, chalk time and water games depending on the location. Our daily structure keeps variety in the program and ensures there is never an "off" day!
Peace of Mind is why parents trust their children are having an amazing adn safe time at Multi-Sport Camp. To know your children are safe, engaged and active means parents can focus on other things. Our adult coaches are hired for their energy and love of children. They bring a level of enthusiasm only found in students and young adults and have as much fun as the kids. Many of our coaches are pursuing teaching, or Early Childhood Education, and many are students at McMaster or other local schools. Most importantly, all are amazing staff members.
Professionalism is why parents keep registering their children to Multi Sport Camp as well as the rest of our programs. Parents feel confident knowing that the coaches are first aid trained and there are systems to monitor any special medical needs. Parents know their children are with coaches who have been screened, Police checked, and trained to work with children. They follow a curriculum with the children to help them develop skills in a structured environment. It says something about the organization when you provide input into the development of the government COVID guidelines and are first to be approved by Public Health!
Community Options are why people choose HamOnt Sports camps. Not only do we run summer camps at Soccer World, Batter Zone and Wentworth Arenas, we also have outdoor camp locations in Ancaster at Ancaster Community Park, near McMaster in Churchill Park, and on the mountain near Lime Ridge at McQuesten Park so that it is convenient for all of the families that are interested in our programs.
